We love our animals here at the farm and we believe we have the best ones around these parts of eastern NC!
From our two-legged chicks to our four-legged cows, we're sure you'll love them too!
It's so fun to watch our goats run and play! They are so agile and are like jumping beans as they enjoy jumping on the tires or playing on the teeter-totter! We try to interact with them daily to keep them socialized for our farm friends to enjoy. Our goats are Nigerian Dwarfs and Myotonic aka the famous fainting goats! However, there's one "unlike all the others", come see for yourself!
In July 2022, we had our first two kids born and what an exciting time that was around the farm! Since then, we've had many more born. These babies are all part of our Goat Snuggle Sessions so be sure to stay tuned to our website or our Facebook farm page for upcoming sessions!
Scotty, our first Highland Bull, joined the farm in 2021! We fell in love with him as he quickly became our farm mascot. Since then we've added a few more Highlands...they are kinda like potato chips, you can't have just one!
Loretta, our Aberdeen Lowline recently calved Honey, an Aberdeen/Highland cross. Scotty is the proud sire!
We are always adding new faces to the farm so check back frequently for our latest arrivals.
Although, Joe is no longer our newest "coo" addition to the Agape Farm family, he is certainly one of our farm friends' favorites!
Born in December 2023, he has officially turned two! He and Scotty are pasture mates and are always getting into something.
Host your next cow themed party at the farm and see Joe up close! Schedule one with us today!
Our Jerusalem donkeys, are just one of our layers of protection we have on the farm. Donkeys are known for their ability to fight off predators. Claude, Charlie, Taffy and Truffles stand duty 24/7 but yet are very gentle souls.
Our area has coyotes, black bears as well as foxes and other small predatory critters. Under their careful watch, we have not had any major loss of livestock.
As if things were not exciting enough. Our Great Pyrenees keeps things balanced. Two more layers of protection for the farm. They are always vigilant to protect the farm from unwanted predators, even if it means staying up all night.
After losing Jake, our two year old Great Pyrenees, we were blessed with LeRoy! This gentle giant came from WNC after Hurricane Helene. There's a unique story about him that you can only hear by visiting with us at the farm! What are you waiting for?
Our Holland and New Zealand bunnies can't wait until Spring when it is their time to shine!
So much adorableness packed into a perfect photogenic package.
Add these munchkins to your upcoming family photo sessions. Photo times are limited so feel free to schedule in advance.
We are always adding new farm members and activities so return trips are just as entertaining as the first one. Follow us on social media to keep up to date with all the latest events.
